Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Championships in high jump. Her compatriot Yulia Levchenko took fifth place.

Both Ukrainians qualified without a single failed attempt: Olympic champion Mahuchikh cleared 1.92 m from her first jump and reached the final, while Levchenko also successfully cleared the bar on her first attempt after three attempts.

16 athletes made it to the finals - the largest group in the last 18 years. 11 participants were selected, who took a height of 1.92 m, and five more were admitted based on the best results at 1.88 m.
The rivals of Mahuchikh and Levchenko in the fight for medals were Olympic medalists from Australia Nicola Olislagers and Eleanor Patterson, as well as Christina Gonzel and Morgan Lake, who jumped 2.00 m in the 2025 season.
