In Chernihiv Region, russians repeatedly fired on medics and police officers who arrived at site of drone strike

In the Chernihiv Region, patrol officers and medics came under repeated fire at the site of a drone crash. This was reported by the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksii Biloshitskyi, on the Telegram network.

"Yesterday, at about 10 pm, at the patrol police road station, inspectors heard explosions nearby. Immediately going to the scene, they saw an ambulance and medics providing assistance to the injured," the police said.

It is reported that when they drove closer to assess the situation, the patrol officers came under repeated enemy fire, as a result of which the police and ambulance service vehicles were damaged.

"We immediately blocked traffic on the highway, and the injured were promptly treated by medics, who were provided with the necessary escort to the hospital by the patrol officers," the message says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian occupiers again struck Ukrainian rescuers with drones who were extinguishing a fire at the site of the previous hit of a russian strike drone in the Kyiv Region.

On September 17, on a professional holiday, Rescuer's Day, russian occupiers attacked emergency workers in Nizhyn, Chernihiv Region. As a result of the strike on the State Emergency Service unit, a rescuer was killed and two others were injured.
