On the night of Thursday, September 18, the military of the aggressor country of russia attacked the railway infrastructure in the Myrhorod district of the Poltava Region. This was reported by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, in his Telegram channel.
According to Kohut, as a result of the enemy attack, fires broke out, which were localized by the State Emergency Service units. One person was injured.
Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the russian attack led to a delay in the movement of a number of trains, reserve diesel locomotives were involved. However, as of 07:00 am, the damage was localized, and the voltage was applied - the trains (including suburban electric trains) will move under their own power.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the evening of Wednesday, September 17, a drone of the aggressor country of russia hit a gas station in the Poltava district.
Also on the night of September 17, russia struck the railway infrastructure. Ukrzaliznytsia previously reported that russian troops were deliberately striking the railway infrastructure of Ukraine, in particular at key hub stations.
