Ukraine manages to save 16 more children from occupation

16 children who had been living in fear all the time were returned from the temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, September 17.

Yermak noted that one of the rescued is a 15-year-old girl who escaped from the occupation together with her aunt after the occupiers sentenced her parents and older brother to long-term prison terms on fabricated cases. A 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old sister, who lost their home and all their belongings due to a fire, were also returned from the occupation.

"A 15-year-old girl and her parents hardly left home for three years, because the family lived in fear every day that the occupiers might knock on the door and take the children. And the 10-year-old boy was tried to be taken away from his parents by the occupation "guardianship service," wrote the head of the President's Office.

Currently, all children are safe, receive psychological support and are restoring their documents.
