Poland should have its own military and energy nuclear capabilities, for which it will cooperate with France. This was stated by Polish President Karol Nawrocki in an interview with the LCI TV channel, Onet reported on Wednesday, September 17.
Nawrocki stressed that his country should be part of the joint use of nuclear weapons. According to him, this is what the Polish-French partnership will be.
"We still do not have nuclear energy in Poland, but we know what potential it has in terms of energy security, so cooperation with France is extremely important for Poland," the Polish President said.
Nawrocki noted that Poland wants to develop its nuclear potential, in which France is a partner.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 14, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France was ready to begin discussions with its European allies on the issue of deploying French nuclear weapons on their territory, following the example of the United States.
