On September 16, 183 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (60 clashes), Novopavlivsk (25) and Siversk (23).
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 2 missile and 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, in particular, dropped 118 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 4,685 shelling, 73 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 6,206 kamikaze drones for strikes.
On September 16, 183 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, nine clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes.
The enemy launched 9 air strikes here using 18 guided aerial bombs and carried out 188 shelling, including four with MLRS.
In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, five clashes took place near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory and Lyptsi.
In the Kupyansk Axis, seven russian attacks took place.
The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the direction of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Borivska Andriivka and Pishchane.
In the Lyman Axis, the invaders attacked 14 times, trying to advance towards the settlements of Shykivka, Shandryholovove, Stavka and near Kolodiazi, Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Seredne and Torske.
In the Siversk Axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 23 enemy attacks in the areas of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, Fedorivka and towards the settlements of Vyimka, Yampil, Dronivka.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, five clashes were recorded in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk Axis, russians carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Katerynivka, Poltavka, Rusyn Yar and towards Ivanopillia, Plischchiivka.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Nykanorivka, Nove Shakhove, Shakhove, Myroliubivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, Novoukrainka.
In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 25 enemy attacks near the settlements of Filiya, Ivanivka, Olhivske, Oleksandrohrad, Maliivka, Sichneve, Novoivanivka.
In the Hulyaipole Axis, the Ukrainian military repelled two enemy attacks near Poltavka.
In the Orikhiv Axis, the Armed Forces repelled one attack in the Kamyanske area.
In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one area of concentration of personnel, two artillery pieces and one UAV control point of the russian occupiers.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on September 16 amounted to 1,020 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 15, 208 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was in the Pokrovsk (54 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (34) Axes.
