On the night of September 14, 945 customers were left without electricity due to explosions on the railway in the Fastiv District of the Kyiv Region. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids announced this, Suspilne reports.
"During the repair, the power supply will be restored to customers according to backup schemes. For now, the work is ongoing and residents will have electricity for three hours. The power supply will be carried out as soon as they receive access to equipment from the State Emergency Service," the company noted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, it was previously known that on the night of September 14, an emergency occurred in the Fastiv District of the Kyiv Region, as a result of which the railway infrastructure was damaged.
Ukrzaliznytsia published footage from the scene of the emergency. The Kharkiv-Przemyśl train, which fell into the emergency zone near Boiarka, has already resumed its movement. All 240 passengers are safe, there are no serious injuries.
The elimination of damage to the railway infrastructure in the Fastiv District of the Kyiv Region continues. Bus services have been strengthened.
