In the Volyn Region, a residential building was destroyed after an aircraft munition fell. This was reported by the Avers broadcasting company, citing its own sources.
The incident occurred on Thursday, September 11, in the afternoon in the village of Kopyllia. According to preliminary data, a missile from a fighter jet flying low over the settlement fell on the building, and later the aircraft turned towards Belarus.
According to media information, the parents of the deputy head of the local Rapid Operational Response Unit of police live in the destroyed house. There were no people inside at the time of the explosion.
The speaker of the Lviv Territorial Directorate of the State Bureau of Investigation, Sofia Lepekh-Davydovych, reported that a criminal case has been launched into the fact of the fall of the aircraft munition. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
