Trump criticizes Democrats after murder of Ukrainian refugee in US

US President Donald Trump recorded a video address dedicated to the murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska. In it, he sharply criticized the Democrats' policy on security in large cities.

The video was published on the White House YouTube channel.

Trump said that the 25 most dangerous cities in America are headed by Democratic mayors who "let criminals go free," creating a threat to citizens. The President also showed photos of Iryna Zarutska, the suspect in her murder, DeCarlos Brown Jr., and the moment of the attack.

"She was killed by a man who had 14 previous arrests and was at large. We cannot allow repeat offenders to spread violence in our country," Trump said. He called for a tougher policy towards criminals and recalled his decision to send National Guard troops to Washington to maintain order.
