Ukraine's first solar-powered polyethylene pipe production plant launched in Irpin

The Planet Plastic company has built in Irpin (Kyiv Region) the first solar-powered polyethylene pipe production plant in Ukraine.

The company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The statement says that the company's capacity is over 17,000 km of pipes per year for water supply, gas networks, as well as for technical and protective systems.

All products will be manufactured on the latest equipment, which allows for the production of polymer pipes with a diameter of 16 to 800 mm.

The plant's products will be supplied both to the domestic market of the country and for export.

It is noted that to support educational and medical institutions in Ukraine, the plant will supply polymer pipes at special prices.

The Planet Plastic LLC is a Ukrainian plant of polyethylene products.

The company specializes in the production of films for agriculture and industry, Harwell™ polymer sleeves for grain and feed storage, as well as polyethylene pipes for water supply, gas and technical needs.

Founded in 2003, completely destroyed in the spring of 2022, the company is actively building new production, developing exports and remaining a reliable partner for customers in Ukraine and abroad.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, at the end of September 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated plastic pipe production plants from russian oligarch Miron Gorilovsky and his business partners Valentin Buyanovsky and Andrey Menshov, who are founders, controllers and top managers of the russian Polyplastic group of companies, in favor of Ukraine.
