On the night of September 9, the russian occupiers attacked Kherson with artillery. As a result of enemy fire in the city center, part of the market turned into a ruin.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, has reported this on Facebook.
"The video shows a ruin in the center of Kherson. This is all that remained of part of the city market after the night artillery strikes by the Russians," the report says.
Prokudin emphasized that the fire destroyed retail outlets, which "were the only source of income for many Kherson residents."
There were no casualties as a result of the attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the day before, the army of the aggressor country, russia, shelled Kherson with cluster munitions, which scattered PFM-1 "Petal" anti-personnel mines over part of the city.
