Kellogg comments on attack on government quarter in Kyiv and recalls how he was in Cabinet 2 weeks ago

US Special Representative for Ukraine and russia Keith Kellogg believes that russia is escalating the conflict by striking the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv. He reported this on the social network X.

"The danger in any war is escalation. Russia appears to be escalating with the largest attack of the war hitting offices of the Ukrainian Cabinet in Kyiv," he said.

He also recalled how two weeks ago he visited the now damaged Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine together with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.

"I was with their PM Yuliia Svyrydenko two weeks ago in that building. History shows events can escalate out of control through actions as these. It is why President Trump is working to stop this war. The attack was not a signal that Russia wants to diplomatically end this war," Kellogg said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers building in Kyiv was on fire due to a russian attack, and the fire is being extinguished with the help of aircraft.

At night, the russian federation massively attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones, and significant destruction and fires were recorded.
