The leaders of some European countries will visit the United States on Monday or Tuesday to discuss ways to resolve the war of the aggressor country russia against Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump has stated this, his words are quoted by Reuters.
"Certain European leaders are coming over to our country on Monday or Tuesday individually," Trump said during a conversation with reporters.
The US president did not specify who exactly he meant.
Trump also said that he was not satisfied with the course of the war in response to journalists' questions about the massive air attack by the russian army on Ukraine on the night of Sunday, September 7. He once again stated that the war will be resolved soon.
In addition, the US president said that he was going to hold talks with russian dictator vladimir putin in the near future. He did not give details about when and what he intends to talk to him about.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 30, the American publication Axios wrote that the Trump administration holds Europe responsible for the failure of peace talks on Ukraine.
And on August 22, the Politico publication wrote, citing its own sources, that US President Trump believes that Ukraine will have to accept russia's conditions to end the war.
