YASNO Director General urges Ukrainians to stock up on flashlights and power banks

After renewed attacks by the aggressor country russia on Ukraine's energy system, YASNO Director General Serhii Kovalenko urged Ukrainians to be prepared for any scenarios and stock up on flashlights and power banks. He published a corresponding post on his Facebook page.

"Autumn is a bit of an anxious time for energy professionals. Of course, no one knows what will happen this fall, but given the recent shelling, there is no particular optimism... Therefore, we are not relaxing yet and I recommend that the population and business also be prepared for different scenarios," the YASNO head noted.

Kovalenko also gave some advice to the population on how to prepare for a power outage. Thus, YASNO Director General advises to stock up on power banks, flashlights, or check the serviceability of existing ones; think over a scenario in case there is suddenly no light for a certain time; charge all gadgets and power banks so that they are fully charged and keep a supply of water and non-perishable food at home.

DTEK previously reported that there are currently no planned or emergency power outages. However, the situation in the power system is complicated, so power outage schedules may return.
