On the night of Sunday, September 7, the Defense Forces struck important facilities on the territory of the aggressor country, russia. In particular, the linear production dispatch station "8-N" in the Bryansk Oblast and the Ilya refinery in the Krasnodar Krai were under fire from Ukrainian soldiers. This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff reported that the "8-N" is part of the "Steel Horse" main oil pipeline complex, the pumping capacity of which is 10.5 million tons. The facility is of strategic importance for ensuring the transportation of oil products for the russian occupation army. After the attack, numerous hits were recorded, followed by a fire in the area of the pumping station and the tank farm.
Also, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out fire damage to the facilities of the Ilya Refinery in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation. This oil refinery processes 6.42 million tons of oil annually and is involved in supplying the Russian Armed Forces. Explosions and a fire were recorded in the area of the facility.
In addition, successful hits were confirmed on the locations of the occupants' personnel and warehouses of the material and technical support of russian military units in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation.
The General Staff specified that the results of the fire damage are currently being clarified.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of September 5, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Ryazan Oil Refinery and a number of other important russian facilities. Earlier, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine struck a launcher from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system of the army of the aggressor country, russia.
