The Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Slovakia - Yulia Svyrydenko and Robert Fico - discussed the status of implementation of key infrastructure and energy projects.
Svyrydenko reported this on Facebook.
At the meeting with Fico, Svyrydenko paid attention to economic cooperation.
"We discussed the status of implementation of key infrastructure and energy projects and in this context welcomed the opening of the narrow-gauge railway section between Uzhhorod and Chop. This is the first Euro-gauge railway built in Ukraine, which opens up opportunities for the development of passenger connections with a number of European capitals," the Ukrainian Prime Minister noted.

Also during the meeting, they agreed to work on the substantive content of the next round of joint consultations between the governments of Ukraine and Slovakia, which will soon be held in Slovakia.
"I thanked the government of Slovakia for its unwavering support for Ukraine's European integration aspirations and the need to open negotiation clusters with the EU simultaneously for Ukraine and Moldova as soon as possible," Svyrydenko concluded.
