On the night of Friday, September 5, russian troops launched 157 drones and 7 missiles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 121 UAVs.
The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of September 5 (from 6 p.m. on September 4), the enemy attacked with 157 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – russia, Hvardiiske - TOT Crimea, as well as 6 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk Oblast – russia and a Kh-59 guided aircraft missile from the Voronezh Oblast – russia.
"According to preliminary data, as of 9 a.m., air defenses shot down/suppressed 121 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and simulator drones of various types in the north and east of the country," the report says.
7 missiles and 35 strike UAVs were recorded at 10 locations.
According to data at 9:03 a.m., another enemy UAV was in the air.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 4, the russians launched 112 drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 84 of them.
