In H1, Ukrnafta cuts net profit by half to UAH 5.2 billion

In January-June 2025, compared to the same period last year, the largest oil producing company, JSC Ukrnafta, reduced its net profit by 50.9% to UAH 5.2 billion (in the first half of 2024: UAH 10.6 billion).

This is announced in the company's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The report states that the company's performance results are included in the condensed consolidated interim financial statements of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company for the six months ended June 30, 2025.

KPMG is conducting a review of these statements.

As part of the audit, PrJSC KPMG Audit performed procedures to review the financial information of JSC Ukrnafta.

It is noted that during the same period, Ukrnafta paid UAH 14.8 billion in taxes, duties and customs payments to the state budget and transferred UAH 5 billion in dividends.

And since the company's transfer to state management in 2022, a total of UAH 68.1 billion in taxes, duties and customs payments and UAH 15.3 billion in dividends have been paid.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2024, the largest oil producing company Ukrnafta reduced its net profit by 30.5% to UAH 16.4 billion compared to 2023.

In November 2022, shares of Motor Sich, Ukrnafta, AvtoKrAZ, Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR) and Ukrtatnafta were alienated into state ownership for the period of martial law.

After its end, the assets may be returned to the owners or their value will be reimbursed.
