The State Tax Service reduced the number of actual inspections by a third in August.
This is stated in the Tax Service's report, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"After the introduction of the moratorium, the number of actual inspections in August alone decreased by almost a third, while maintaining the quality of their effectiveness. In July, a little more than 3,600 actual inspections were conducted. In August, according to operational data, their number decreased by more than a third - to 2,300," the report says.
At the same time, it is noted that inspections are carried out only where there are really the greatest risks and a high probability of violations by business.
Inspections have also not been canceled for those entities that are engaged in the circulation of excisable goods.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the State Tax Service carries out tax control taking into account the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to introduce legal and organizational measures regarding a moratorium on groundless inspections and interference by state bodies in business activities, and exclusively taking into account a risk-oriented approach and in the presence of high levels of risk.
