Drone attack on Kirovohrad Region: five injured in Znamianka, railway damaged, number of trains delayed

On the night of September 3, russian troops attacked Znamianka, Kirovohrad Region, with drones. Five people were injured as a result of the strike.

The head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andrii Raikovych, has reported this.

Initially, it was known about three wounded people who were provided with medical assistance. Later, the number of injured increased to five.

17 residential buildings were damaged, one of them was completely destroyed. Due to the attack, some settlements in the community were left without electricity.

Rescuers, police, doctors, psychologists and teams of power engineers are working at the scene to restore electricity supply.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported that more than two dozen trains were delayed due to damage to infrastructure in the Kirovohrad Region.

"Railway workers are doing everything possible to restore the damaged infrastructure as soon as possible and will do everything to reduce the delay time of trains," Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

Recall that on the night of August 28, russian invaders targeted civilian passenger rolling stock. In particular, the Intercity+ high-speed train fleet was under attack.
