Invaders launch 24 missiles and 502 drones over Ukraine at night. There are hits in 14 locations

On the night of Wednesday, September 3, the russian troops launched 502 drones and 24 missiles of various types over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to neutralize 451 air targets: 430 drones and 21 missiles.

The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of September 3 (from 4 p.m. on September 2), the enemy launched a combined strike on the territory of Ukraine using strike UAVs, air- and sea-based missiles.

In total, during the strike, the Air Forces' radio-technical troops detected and escorted 526 air attack means:

- 502 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all – russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea);

- 16 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea;

- 8 Kh-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of the Saratov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai (both – russia).

According to preliminary data, as of 9 a.m., air defense systems had shot down/suppressed 451 air targets:

- 430 enemy Shahed UAVs and simulator drones of various types;

- 14 Kalibr cruise missiles;

- 7 Kh-101 cruise missiles.

3 missiles and 69 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, downed UAVs (fragments) fell at 14 locations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 2, the russians launched 150 strike drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 120 drones.

On the night of September 3, russian troops attacked Znamianka, Kirovohrad Region, with drones. Five people were injured as a result of the strike. Ukrzaliznytsia reported a delay of more than two dozen trains due to damage to infrastructure in the Kirovohrad Region.
