"Our soldiers hit or destroyed 1,304 units of enemy artillery systems. Conditionally, this is equal to the number of almost 73 artillery divisions," the report says.
In addition, in August, the Defense Forces actively disabled and destroyed the automotive equipment of the russian army - minus 3,505 units of military automotive equipment and tank trucks.
"Despite the trend towards a decrease in the enemy's use of heavy armored vehicles due to their vulnerability on the battlefield, our soldiers actively hunted enemy "armor" throughout August. Over the last month of the summer, the russian army lost 87 tanks and 161 armored combat vehicles," the Ministry of Defense added.
