Russian occupiers shell Sumy at night. Trading rows destroyed, child among injured

On the night of September 2, russian occupiers struck Sumy, as a result of the shelling, trading rows were destroyed, and a child was among the injured. This was reported by the head of the City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, in Telegram.

"As a result of the shelling, the premises of the trading rows were destroyed. 4 residential buildings were damaged, about 50 windows were broken. There are victims who sought outpatient care, among them a child," the message says.

Kryvosheyenko also notes that as of now the fire has been extinguished. Municipal enterprises are involved in the elimination of the consequences.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, evacuation continues in the Sumy Region - as of August 26, 47 residents, including 9 children, left the border communities of the Sumy Region in a week.
