Camera with footage from Chinese factory found in russian drone — it showed laboratory and street

A camera was found in a downed russian Gerbera drone, on which footage from a Chinese factory was left, where, probably, its operability was checked.

A military serviceman and expert in the field of military radio technologies Serhii Beskrestnov (Flash) has reported this.

According to him, the video clearly recorded the moment of testing the camera directly on the production line. This once again confirms that russia is actively using Chinese components in the production of its strike drones.

Earlier, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on the growth of the share of Chinese parts in the Geran-2 (Shahed) drones: as of May 2025, it reached 60–65%. And according to the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, already at the beginning of this year, about 80% of critical electronics for russian UAVs came from China. In addition, Beijing supplies russia with special chemicals, gunpowder and equipment for dozens of defense plants.

As a reminder, in the Kyiv Region, local residents discovered the wreckage of a russian Gerbera drone made of foam plastic. Sappers removed the remains of the enemy UAV.
