On Sunday night, russian troops struck the Odesa Region, as a result of which four energy facilities of DTEK were damaged.
The energy company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
DTEK noted that they are not disclosing details about the condition of the equipment, but as soon as the military and rescuers allow, energy workers will begin inspection and restoration work.
According to the Ministry of Energy, about 29,000 subscribers remain without electricity. Additional repair crews have already been involved in restoring the power supply, and critical infrastructure is powered by backup and distributed generation sources.
Chornomorsk and surrounding settlements suffered the greatest destruction. Private houses and administrative buildings were damaged there, fires broke out in several places, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. One victim is also known.
As a reminder, on the night of Sunday, August 31, the military of the aggressor country russia massively attacked the Odesa Region with strike drones. The occupiers damaged an energy infrastructure facility, and one person was injured.
