On the left bank of the Kherson Region, russian occupiers have engaged in a shootout between two units. As a result, there are killed and wounded. This is stated in a message of the ATESH partisan movement.
Thus, according to the partisans, on August 19, an armed conflict occurred in the temporarily occupied Kherson Region between units of the 127th reconnaissance brigade and the 24th motorized rifle regiment.
"It all started with the fact that servicemen of the 24th regiment opened fire on the positions of the 127th brigade. They, in turn, mistook them for a Ukrainian sabotage and assault group and raised the alarm of the reserve unit. As a result, a chaotic firefight broke out. The result of the clash: 21 occupiers were eliminated, 17 were wounded," ATESH said.
It is noted that after the incident, inspections began in the units, control and interrogations of personnel were strengthened. The atmosphere inside the occupation units became even more tense: distrust is growing, soldiers suspect each other of provocations, and commanders fear new conflicts.
