Zelenskyy visits ruins of house in Kyiv where russian missile killed 25 people

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the site of the missile strike by the aggressor country russia on Kyiv on August 28, where the death toll rose to 25 people. The head of state reported this on his Telegram channel on Friday, August 29.

Zelenskyy honored the memory of the fallen at the site of the russian ballistic missile hitting a residential building and expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased. According to him, in the near future, all victims and families who lost loved ones as a result of this shelling will be provided with housing assistance under the relevant programs.

"This shelling is a demonstrative Russian response to the world's efforts to end this war. Killing children and destruction instead of diplomacy and peace. And the world should respond to such a response: even more sanctions, even more opportunities for Ukraine to speak the language of force - the only one that Russia understands. Thank you to all partners who help us in this," Zelenskyy said.
