The head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, warned that from the first days of the russian-Belarusian exercises "Zapad-2025" there will be a strong information incitement. Most of the incitement will come from the russian federation.
He stated this at the forum "Information War: From Resistance to Resilience".
"These exercises, after the events of 2022 in Ukraine, have received clearly defined boundaries of perception. They are beginning to be perceived no longer as exercises, but as something, perhaps more than just military maneuvers. And this is the problem," he said.
According to the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Ukraine, although there is now a wave of incitement, from the first days of the start of the active phase, there will be a crazy wave of information aggravation.
"The attacks will come from absolutely all sides, 90% will be Russian, 10% - unfortunately, others. Hysteria will be ramped up," said Budanov.
He also explained that if we take the military and military-political components of these exercises, they have the following goal - practicing separate maneuvers in actions, as they say "in the western direction of the theater of military operations."
"That is, they will play out certain elements of the future war, this is not about Ukraine. Here we are talking about symbols and signs, first of all, for European countries, first of all, for the Baltic countries," summed up the head of the Defense Intelligence.
