Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the invaders, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. In total, 172 clashes were recorded during the past day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile and 76 air strikes, using 4 missiles and dropping 131 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,476 attacks, including 48 from multiple launch rocket systems, and involved 5,660 kamikaze drones for destruction.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on areas of settlements, in particular:
Krenydivka - Sumy Region; Bilohiria – Zaporizhzhia Region; Lviv, Olhivka - Kherson Region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a command post and four artillery pieces of the enemy.
Three clashes took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes over the past day. The enemy launched three air strikes, dropped three guided bombs, and carried out 158 attacks, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy stormed the positions of our units eight times in the areas of Hlyboke, Prylipka, Vovchansk and towards Fyholivka, Kutkivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, five attacks by the invaders took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions in the area of Zahryzove and towards Kupiansk.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 29 times, trying to wedge into our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Zarichne, Yampil and towards Olhivka, Druzheliubivka, Shandryholove, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Hryhorivka.
On the Siversk axis, our soldiers stopped four enemy attacks near Hryhorivka and Pereizne.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked twice in the axis of Stupochky and Predtechyne.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Dyliivka and towards Kleban-Byk, Katerynivka, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 50 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Maiak, Zapovidne, Sukhetske, Zatyshok, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoukrainka and towards Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy carried out 31 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Voskresenka, Maliivka, Zaporizke and towards Filiia, Oleksandrohrad, Novoivanivka during the past day.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupation troops once tried to storm the positions of the Defense Forces near the settlement of Stepove.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks of the invaders.
On the Huliaipole axis, no combat clashes were recorded.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the formation of offensive enemy groups have been detected.
Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
In general, as the Ukrainian News Agency reported, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 850 people.
Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized six tanks, 19 armored combat vehicles, 47 artillery systems, 316 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level, and 106 units of motor vehicles of the invaders.
