On the night of August 30, the enemy army launched a massive combined strike on the cities of Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, using strike drones and missiles.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, media pages on social networks and local leaders stated this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In particular, according to the Air Forces, at 3:28 a.m., the launch of several groups of Kalibr cruise missiles from the area of russian Novorossiysk in the direction of the city of Dnipro was recorded.
The attack was accompanied by the massive use of strike drones, which attacked the city during the night. Local journalists reported a large number of explosions in the city.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported hits in the cities of Dnipro and Pavlohrad.
At the same time, russian troops carried out a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia, using strike drones and missiles. As a result of the shelling, multi-storey and private houses were damaged, fires broke out, and power outages were recorded.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov has reported this.
"The Russians attacked the regional center with various types of weapons. At least 12 strikes were carried out by the Russians on Zaporizhzhia during a massive attack," the official emphasized in his post.
According to preliminary information from the head of the Regional Military Administration, three people were injured as a result of the attack. Power went out in some areas of Zaporizhzhia. Private houses were destroyed, multi-storey buildings, and industrial enterprise buildings were damaged.
At about six in the morning, the State Emergency Service reported that two five-storey buildings and five private residential buildings had been hit. According to preliminary information, one person was killed, six more were rescued. The number of victims is being specified.
The authorities are calling on people to stay in safe places.
