On the night of August 30, the Defense Forces used drones to hit the Krasnodar oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai and the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara Oblast of russia.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that the Ukrainian military is working "within the framework of reducing the enemy's offensive potential and complicating the supply of fuel to the military units of the occupiers."
According to the General Staff, the Krasnodar oil refinery produces 3 million tons of light oil products per year - gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation fuel. It participates in the provision of the russian armed forces.
The Syzran oil refinery was hit again, the military noted. This enterprise produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, fuel oil, bitumen. The processing volumes until August 2025 were 8.5 million tons per year.
The results of the fire damage are currently being clarified.
