Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital damaged by russian attack, patients transferred to another medical facility – Kyiv Regional Military Administration

As a result of a massive attack by the aggressor country russia on the Kyiv region on the night of August 28, Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital was damaged, and patients were transferred to another medical facility. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The regional clinical hospital located in the capital was damaged: about five dozen windows were broken, window frames and doors were damaged, patients were temporarily transferred to another medical facility while the restoration of this one continues," the report says.

According to the report, damage was recorded in four districts of the Kyiv Region: Fastiv, Obukhiv, Brovary and Vyshhorod, 19 private residential buildings, 1 apartment in a multi-storey building, and 4 cars were damaged.

A 33-year-old man was injured in the Fastiv district - he received cuts to the chest and legs, he was provided with medical care at a local hospital, and is currently under outpatient observation.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reports that the hunters from the "Clear Sky" project managed to intercept seven dozen enemy drones - this is a record number of destroyed targets per night.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to a report by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops launched 598 strike UAVs and 31 missiles over the territory of Ukraine on the night of Thursday, August 28, the air defense forces managed to neutralize a total of 589 enemy targets, hits of missiles and strike UAVs were recorded at 13 locations, and the fall of downed UAVs (fragments) at 26 locations.

In Kyiv, August 29 has been declared a Day of Mourning in memory of the victims of today's massive attack by the military of the aggressor country, the russian federation, on the capital. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as of 11:33 a.m., 14 people were known to have been killed as a result of the shelling, including 3 children, and another 38 people – injured. Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing at 5 locations in the Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi Districts.
