Defense Ministry names main targets of night russian missile strike

The main target of the massive missile strike by the russian occupiers on Kyiv on the night of August 28 was the infrastructure, logistics hubs and production facilities that support the economy of Ukraine. Lieutenant General, First Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havryliuk reported this on the air of Novyny.LIVE.

It is reported that due to the inaccuracy of the means of destruction, the missiles and drones did not reach the planned targets and hit residential buildings and other civilian objects.

"The Russians aimed at the infrastructure, logistics, production facilities that support the economy, but due to the not entirely accurate means of destruction, they hit houses," says Havryliuk.

He also stated that russia is attacking Ukraine with means of destruction that have large deviations from the aiming points, which is why peaceful infrastructure objects are hit.

"Industrial facilities that currently function and support the economy at a normal level are also under attack. And due to the fact that their means of destruction are not entirely accurate, there are large deviations from the aiming points, which is why ordinary non-military objects where civilians live are hit," Havryliuk concluded.

We will remind you that on the night of August 28, the russian invaders carried out a combined strike on Kyiv. Significant damage was recorded in 7 districts of the city.

In addition, the dismantling of the rubble after the night attack continues in Kyiv: rescuers are finding fragments of bodies.

Also, on the night of August 28, the russian invaders targeted civilian passenger rolling stock. In particular, the Intercity+ high-speed train fleet was under attack.
