60,000 consumers out of power as a result of night-time hostile attack on critical infrastructure in Vinnytsia

On the night of Thursday, August 28, the military of the aggressor state of russia attacked the critical infrastructure of the Vinnytsia Region, which caused a power outage for 60,000 consumers.

The first deputy head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Natalia Zabolotna, announced this on the official page of the Regional Military Administration, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to her, 60,000 consumers in 29 settlements were out of power due to the hit on energy facilities, and restoration work is currently underway.

"All relevant services are working on the ground. Emergency restoration work is currently being carried out," Zabolotna wrote.

No information about the victims has been received so far.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the massive enemy attack on the night of August 28 caused the destruction of residential and non-residential buildings and fires in 8 districts of Kyiv. According to preliminary data, the number of people killed in the enemy attack has made 12 people. Among them are three children aged 2, 17 and 14.

On the night of August 28, russian invaders also targeted civilian passenger rolling stock.
