3,000 tons of illegal coffee are imported into Ukraine annually.
This was announced by Danylo Hetmantsev, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Three thousand tons of illegal coffee (or every third ton) per year is smuggled into Ukraine past the eyes wide shut of customs officers and law enforcement officers. Under the guise of chicory, the volume of imports (did you really start drinking chicory instead of water?) has grown several times in two years. Or even black. Then this coffee is either sold for cash, or packaged under international brands and is also sold for cash. And this is not only Stolichka, Volynska in Kyiv, or "Seventh Kilometer" in Odesa. These are also numerous food retail chains, broken up into individual entrepreneurs," he wrote.
The state loses more than a billion hryvnias per year on this group of goods alone, but in addition, the consumer receives low-quality, counterfeit goods.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the State Budget received UAH 10 billion in "Google tax", OnlyFans paid - USD 1.2 million for 7 months of this year.
This was stated by Danylo Hetmantsev, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy.
