On the night of August 27, the russian occupiers massively attacked the Poltava Region, damaging an energy sector enterprise - fires broke out. After the attack, there were power outages, but the power supply has now been restored.
This was reported by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut.
It is indicated that the enemy massively attacked the Poltava Region at night - falling debris and direct hits were recorded in the Poltava district.
As a result of the attack, an energy sector enterprise was damaged - the administrative building, vehicles and equipment were damaged. Fires broke out on the territory of the enterprise. In addition, power outages occurred for household and legal consumers.
Currently, the fires have been localized, power supply has been restored. There were no casualties.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of August 27, russian troops carried out a massive drone strike on Sumy and the surrounding areas of the Sumy community. Infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the attack.
In Sumy, as a result of the massive attack by russian drones, all water utility facilities were cut off and are being switched to emergency backup power.
