Trump calls Lavrov's accusations about Zelenskyy's illegitimacy "nonsense"

US President Donald Trump called the statements of the Foreign Minister of the aggressor state of russia, Sergey Lavrov, about the so-called illegitimacy of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy "nonsense".

He stated this after a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"It doesn't matter what they say. Everyone is showing off. It's all nonsense," Trump said.

Trump asked his special representative Steve Witkoff if he agreed with him, to which he replied in the affirmative: "I agree with you".

Following this, laughter broke out among those present at the meeting.

Recall that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor state of russia, Sergey Lavrov, gave an interview in English to the American media NBC. Among his statements was the alleged illegitimacy of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, meanwhile, Donald Trump's special representative Steve Witkoff announced a meeting with Ukrainian representatives in New York in the near future.
