Russians strike DTEK mine: worker killed, others injured

The army of the aggressor state russia attacked the DTEK mine, damaging the company's facilities and equipment. An employee was killed and others injured. At the time of the attack, 146 miners were underground.

DTEK reported this on Telegram.

"Another terrorist attack by the enemy on the Ukrainian energy sector. The enemy killed our colleague. Three more were injured. Sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased," the message says.

The company reported that necessary assistance is being provided to the wounded, as well as to the family of the deceased.

The attack damaged the company's facilities and equipment, and there was also a power outage. At the time of the attack, 146 miners were underground, and their ascent to the surface is ongoing.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, August 26, russian occupiers struck the fire and rescue unit in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region.

In addition, at night, russian occupiers massively attacked the Sumy Region, causing large-scale fires. Two people were injured.
