"Absurd lecture." Foreign Ministry responds to Lavrov about Zelenskyy's "illegitimacy"

The Foreign Minister of the aggressor country of russia, who has been in his chair for 21 years and serves a dictator with over 25 years of ruling experience, has no legitimacy to speak about the legality of anyone's stay in their position. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha stated this on Facebook on Monday, August 25.

Sybiha commented on Lavrov's statements regarding the conditions for signing any documents with the russian federation, which does not recognize the legitimacy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"There is nothing more absurd than a lecture on legitimacy from a person who has been in his chair for 21 years, serving someone who has been in power for over 25 years. He has no legitimacy to speak about legitimacy," the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized.

According to him, such unfounded statements are evidence that russia rejects peace efforts.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 24, Lavrov stated that the aggressor country russia recognizes Volodymyr Zelenskyy as the de facto head of Ukraine, but sets a condition regarding his legitimacy in case of signing documents.
