The Sakhalin Oblast became the first region where, amid the worsening fuel crisis, a decision was made to stop the sale of fuel to the population.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of August 21, the authorities of three russian regions complained about the shortage of gasoline.

The occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhia Region previously reported about problems with the availability of gasoline. The occupied Crimea also complained about the fuel shortage.

As a reminder, back in July of this year, it became known that the russian government was preparing to ban the export of gasoline.
