Banks earned UAH 14.421 billion in July and UAH 92.495 billion since the beginning of the year.
This is stated in the message of the National Bank, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In July last year, banks earned UAH 14.7 billion, and in 7 months of 2024 - UAH 93.6 billion.
Banks' income since the beginning of the current year amounts to UAH 324.1 billion, expenses - UAH 231.6 billion.
Interest income amounts to UAH 229.5 billion, and commission income - UAH 69.1 billion, the result from revaluation and purchase and sale - UAH 17.2 billion.
Interest expenses for the specified period - UAH 77.8 billion, commissions - UAH 33.7 billion, other operating expenses - UAH 11.9 billion.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, solvent banks received UAH 78 billion of net profit in the first half of 2025, which is 1.1% lower than the figure for the first half of last year.
In 2024, banks received UAH 91 billion of net profit after charging UAH 96 billion of income tax at an increased rate of 50%.
