Ukraine receives EUR 4 billion from EU under ERA and Ukraine Facility - Svyrydenko

Ukraine received EUR 1 billion from the European Union under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) initiative from the proceeds of russia's frozen assets and EUR 3.05 billion in loans under the Ukraine Facility.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this on her Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Ukraine received EUR 4.05 billion - EUR 1 billion under the ERA Loans, financed from frozen russian assets, and EUR 3.05 billion under the Ukraine Facility for recovery and integration. This support strengthens both the state budget and the reconstruction process," she said.

The Ministry of Finance reported that the funds will be directed to priority social and humanitarian expenditures of the state budget.

Within the framework of the Ukraine Facility for 2024-2027, about EUR 50 billion are provided for Ukraine (EUR 38.27 billion - direct budget support), in total, more than EUR 22.6 billion have already been received by the state budget since 2024 within the framework of the instrument.

In 2025, it is planned to attract about EUR 12.5 billion, of which more than EUR 6.5 billion have already been received by the state budget.

The ERA mechanism provides for the allocation of USD 50 billion to Ukraine, which are provided by revenues from frozen russian assets, the EU contribution is EUR 18.1 billion (USD 20 billion).

In total, within the framework of the ERA initiative, the Ministry of Finance has already attracted EUR 9 billion from the EU.

The Ministry of Finance notes that the EU remains the largest donor of financial support to Ukraine - EUR 57.5 billion over 3.5 years, in 8 months of 2025 Ukraine received more than EUR 15.5 billion from the EU.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 10, Ukraine received another EUR 1 billion from the EU - the sixth tranche of macro-financial assistance under the G7 ERA initiative at the expense of russian assets.

On April 1, Ukraine received EUR 3.5 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility.
