State Border Guard Service of Ukraine tells when greatest threat from russian-Belarusian exercises Zapad 2025 will be

The most dangerous period during the russian-Belarusian exercises "Zapad 2025" will be the time in mid-September, when their most active phase will be held. The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andrii Demchenko reported this on the air of "We-Ukraine".

The active phase of the exercises will begin in September, from the 12th to the 16th, and this is the period that border guards call the most dangerous. It is also noted that the russian federation has not yet attracted large military forces and equipment for the exercises in Belarus.

"This is an additional risk, because Russia, once again, will transfer some of its forces and means to the territory of Belarus, which, in fact, expands the areas where the enemy can use these means. But, as of now, we need to assess what we have, and I can note that the Russian Federation has not yet attracted large numbers of its forces and means to the territory of Belarus. I hope, of course, that these forces and means that the enemy will transfer to the territory of Belarus will not be in large numbers, and, in fact, this is also being monitored by the intelligence units of both the Ministry of Defense and the State Border Guard Service, in order to fully assess the situation that will occur during these joint exercises between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation," he noted.

The State Border Guard Service of the Republic of Belarus does not rule out the possibility of provocations from the russian federation or information influence in order for the Ukrainian special services to react and transfer their units to protect the border from the Belarusian side.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Belarus and the russian federation plan to practice the use of nuclear weapons and the Oreshnik complex at the Zapad 2025 exercises.

The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andrii Demchenko, reported that several hundred russian military personnel and several dozen pieces of equipment have already arrived in Belarus for joint military exercises scheduled for September.
