Belarus and Iran have decided to deepen cooperation to "neutralize illegal Western sanctions." This is stated in a message by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).
Thus, it is reported that during a meeting with the head of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that Western sanctions are "economic terrorism." He also emphasized the desire of both countries to build a "multipolar world, where states independently determine their path of development without external interference."
Lukashenko also stated the importance of joint work in the UN, SCO, BRICS and other international organizations to form a "fair and constructive" global agenda.
The CCD emphasizes that the political course of Belarus and Iran demonstrates the strategic synchronization of the actions of the satellites of the aggressor country russia, which seek to counteract "Western influence" and strengthen economic and political ties between countries under sanctions pressure.
"Such deepening of cooperation is a tool for circumventing sanctions restrictions and strengthening pro-Russian blocs. Russian propaganda regularly uses such partnerships to demonstrate the alleged successes of the multipolar world and the "ineffectiveness" of Western sanctions, trying to prove that pressure on the Russian Federation and its allies is ineffective," the CCD emphasizes.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, previously unrecognized President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said that he invited the US President and his family to Belarus, and he accepted the invitation.
