On the night of Tuesday, August 19, russia massively attacked Kremenchuk of the Poltava Region with cruise missiles and strike drones, air defense was operating in the city and explosions were heard. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force channel and the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Kohut.
Thus, the Air Force reports that from 05:08 am in the Kharkiv Region, the first cruise missiles were recorded flying in the direction of the Poltava Region, and attack drones were also recorded.
As a result of the massive russian attack, hits and falling debris were recorded in the Kremenchuk and Lubny districts.
"Tonight, the enemy massively attacked the Poltava Region. Hits and falling debris were recorded in the Kremenchuk and Lubny districts. Administrative buildings of local energy sector enterprises were damaged. In the Lubny district, 1,471 household and 119 legal subscribers were left without electricity as a result of the attack. The State Emergency Service and energy units are working to overcome the consequences of the attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the head of the Regional Military Administration said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Monday, August 18, russian troops launched 4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 140 drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 88 drones.
Meanwhile, the russians once again attacked Kharkiv. At least 4 killed and 18 injured citizens are known.
