182 combat clashes take place at front during day, 58 of them in Pokrovsk Axis

On August 17, 182 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (58 attacks), Novopavlivsk (28) and Lyman (21).

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched four missile strikes with four missiles and 80 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 152 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy attracted 5,132 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 5,173 shelling on the positions of our troops and settlements, in particular, 73 from multiple launch rocket systems.

On August 17, 182 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, 4 combat clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes.

In addition, the enemy carried out 10 air strikes here, dropping 26 guided aerial bombs, and also carried out 227 shelling of the positions of troops and settlements, in particular, 9 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, the enemy stormed 13 times in the Vovchansk area and in the direction of the settlements of Khatne, Odradne.

In the Kupyansk Axis, 12 attacks by the occupiers were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and in the direction of Kupyansk, Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman Axis, 21 attacks were repelled near Hrekivka, Karpivka, Ridkodub and Hryhorivka and towards the settlements of Drobysheve, Yampil, Kolodiazi.

In the Siversk Axis, 5 attacks were repelled in the areas of Hryhorivka, Fedorivka and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, 5 attacks were repelled in the areas of Predtechyne, Oleksandro-Shultyne and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out 9 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Shcherbynivka and towards Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Defense Forces stopped 58 assault and offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Vilne, Nove Shakhove, Zapovidne, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Novoukrainka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne and in the direction of Volodymyrivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, Molodetske.

In the Novopavlivsk Axis, 28 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Tolstoi, Oleksandrohrad, Voskresenka, Maliivka, Vilne Pole and Temyrivka.

In the Orikhiv Axis, 1 attack was repelled in the direction of the settlement of Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovs Axis, 4 attacks were repelled.

In the Huliaipole Axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 10 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment, three artillery pieces and three enemy command posts.

In total, the losses of the russian occupiers over the past day amounted to 940 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 15, 139 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (45 attacks), Novopavlivsk and Lyman (21 clashes each).
