On the night of August 15 (from 7:30 p.m. on August 14), the enemy attacked with 2 Iskander-M missiles and 97 Shahed attack UAVs and drones-simulators of various types.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces announced this on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense shot down/suppressed 61 enemy Shahed UAVs and drones-simulators of various types in the north and east of the country.
The launch of Iskander-M ballistic missiles was carried out from the Voronezh and Bryansk Oblasts of the russian federation. The drones attacked from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo.
Strike UAVs attacked frontline areas of the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, and Chernihiv Regions, and missiles attacked the Kharkiv and Chernihiv Regions.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

A missile and 34 UAVs' hits were recorded at 13 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, over the past 24 hours, the enemy has engaged 1,568 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out about 4,000 attacks.
