Servicemen of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov" together with other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine cleared six settlements in the Dobropillia area of the Donetsk Region, where the russian occupiers made a 10-kilometer breakthrough a few days ago.
This is evidenced by the Azov Corps' report published on August 15.
The Corps reported that as a result of search and strike operations, the settlements of Hruzke, Rubizhne, Novovodiane, Petrivka, Vesele and Zolotyi Kolodiaz were cleared.
The losses of the occupiers amounted to 271 people killed. Sanitary losses - 101 people. Thirteen more occupiers were taken prisoner.
The Ukrainian military also destroyed a tank, two armored combat vehicles, three cannons, and 37 units of automobiles and motorcycles.
"Stabilization measures in the Dobropillia direction continue. Success was achieved thanks to coordinated and well-coordinated actions," the report says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 15, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are successfully clearing positions in the Dobropillia area.
Also yesterday, the DeepState analytical project reported that near Dobropillia, the Ukrainian military pushed back the occupiers near seven settlements.
