Kateryna Rozhkova was dismissed from the post of First Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, and Deputy Chairman of the Board Serhii Nikolaichuk was appointed in her place. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank.
"At the meeting of August 15, 2025, the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine appointed Serhii Nikolaichuk as First Deputy Governor of the National Bank. At the same time, Kateryna Rozhkova ceases to exercise the powers of the First Deputy Governor of the National Bank due to the expiration of her term of office and dismissal from the position," the message said.
It is reported that the relevant candidacy for appointment was submitted to the Council of the National Bank by the Governor of the National Bank Andrii Pyshnyi.
In this position, Serhii Nikolaichuk will manage the vertical of subordination "Financial Stability", as well as temporarily - "Monetary Stability".
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Deputy Governor of the NBU Rozhkova transferred over UAH 7 million to her daughter's account during the war. Meanwhile, National Bank Governor Andrii Pyshnyi donated more money than he received in salary in November.
