A soldier of the aggressor country of russia, who returned from the war against Ukraine, killed Federal Judge Vasily Vetlugin in Kamyshin, Volgograd Oblast. First, he shot the judge with a Saiga rifle on the street, then cut off his genitals and stuck a knife in his eye. This was reported by the russian Telegram channels Mash, 112 and Fontanka on Thursday, August 14.
The publications write that the corpse was found on Sovetskaya Street almost opposite the square near the courthouse. Vetlugin was killed with particular cruelty. He was found with a gunshot wound, a severed genital and a knife in his eye. According to preliminary information, the killer was a soldier who returned from the war against Ukraine and learned about the betrayal of his wife with the judge.

"The killer of Vasyl Vetlugin surrendered to the police himself, he is being interrogated. He says: he found out that his wife was having an affair with a judge, he ambushed him around the corner of the city court and shot him with a carbine. After that, he cut off his genitals and stuck a knife in his eye," the report says.
The soldier is currently facing up to 20 years in prison.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine released a radio intercept of a conversation between russian soldiers, in which one of the commanders talks about a case of cannibalism - the occupier killed and ate his colleague for two weeks.
